Studiował na kierunku artystycznym Wyższej Szkoły Pedagogicznej w Częstochowie, jednak – jak twierdzi – studia dały mu tylko teoretyczne przygotowanie i jest malarskim samoukiem. W 1991 roku został członkiem ZPAP. Po indywidualnym debiucie w częstochowskim BWA w 1994 roku jego prace zostały włączone do wystawy objazdowej „Surrealiści polscy" prezentowanej w kraju w latach 1995-1997. W 1998 roku jego twórczością zajęła się nowojorska galeria Stricoff Fine Art. Artysta reprezentuje popularny nurt tzw. realizmu magicznego, a jego prace cieszą się ogromną popularnością wśród odbiorców sztuki nie tylko w Polsce.
