wood, 200x44x25 cm
Artist originally from Lublin, where she graduated from a high school of fine arts with a specialization in woodcarving. The school gave her a good foundation in drawing and awakened her love of wood and clay, resulting in her studies at the Faculty of Sculpture at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. She has always been fascinated by the diverse world of mammals, sometimes so different, though similar to humans. Since childhood, she has been particularly passionate about horses, which naturally influenced her work, and the freedom of her master's studies gave her the opportunity to develop in this field. The academy shaped her vision of form to a great extent, but by graduating in 2020, she rejected clay and anthropomorphic forms altogether, giving a nod to the beauty of horse movement and at the same time opening a new chapter of her work: the study of the world of mammals in a completely different matter.
