patinated bronze, 44x11x13 cm

Born in 1989 in Tychy. He works in painting, printmaking and sculpture. He graduated from the Faculty of Graphic Arts at the Pedagogical University of Cracow. He defended his diploma in 2016 under the direction of Dr. Stanislaw Cholewa in the studio of intaglio. The main motif in his work is human figures, transformed and technically synthesized. He combines organic shapes with architectural-sculptural form, adding emotional charge and intimate intimacy to them. He often depicts his figures in a strong relationship with flora and fauna, and the feeling of their connection is heightened by their placement on a flat monochromatic surface. Boguslaw Deptuła aptly summed up his work in a brief statement: By sculpting he paints, by painting he sculpts.... The artist has had many solo and group exhibitions, and his works have been shown in the United States, Great Britain, Sweden and Italy, among others. They are also in numerous collections at home and abroad.
