He was born in 1957 in Cieplice. He is a visual artist by profession and was licensed by the Ministry of Culture in 1980. He has had dozens of exhibitions at home and abroad. Founder of the Pławna 9 art group, he has taken part in many happenings and plein-air events and has won numerous awards and prizes. The artist paints mainly portraits, maintained in a quasi-realistic style, partly fairy-tale, set in a rural landscape. This specific atmosphere created by the artist is sometimes compared to the works of Bosch or Bruegel. He is the author of posters for the films "Edi" and "My Nikifor." He lives in the village of Plawna Dolna, where he has an atelier he calls "an artistic enterprise," and has built his own copy of Noah's Ark there.
